I’m Emily, and I currently live in the Washington D.C. area with my husband Daniel and my kitty Banana. By day I am an accountant at a Big Four firm, and by night, I am a reader, food lover, TV watcher, trip planner, and (hopefully!) blogger. I cherish coffee, rainy days, the season of fall, Christmas, scarves, traveling, planning (anything), candles, and cozy days at home. And above all, I strive to serve my Lord and Savior each day.
I started Everyday Accounts not really knowing what it would evolve into, but I knew that I needed a creative outlet or a hobby of sorts. In his book Through Painted Deserts: Light, God, and Beauty on the Open Road, Donald Miller writes “We get one story, you and I, and one story alone.” It is my hope that I can use this space to share my joy of the simple “everyday” in my one story and that maybe a few others will listen and tag along. Thanks for tuning in!
